Faced with increasingly strict regulations such as CSRD, EU-ETS phase IV, and CBAM economic actors face a major paradox: CO2 data is becoming a true accounting asset impacting their economic performance, access to financial markets, and reputation, while current measurement methods remain unreliable and exclusively declarative.
This lack of reliability is particularly critical for scope 3 emissions (value chain), where verifying declarations from international suppliers becomes virtually impossible.
This situation generates considerable risks for industry and finance, threatening the competitiveness of European industry and, consequently, employment in Europe.

Our Team
Founded in July 2024 by experienced professionals in engineering, science, and business leadership, QAIrbon brings together a team of experts passionate about environmental impact.
Led by its co-founders Hervé Hamy (President), Jean-Philippe Durieux (CMO), and Benoît Blanco (CTO), our fast-growing startup has already secured funding including Thales Corporate Venture and Bpifrance.
Our team has rapidly strengthened with the recruitment of high-level data scientists and atmospheric scientists, consolidating our unique expertise at the intersection of atmospheric science, artificial intelligence, and space observation.
